Technical Support Engineer - Production Writer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical Technical Service Engineer to support the Sales Division in delivering accurate and timely technical services. The role is responsible for interpreting plans, sketches, and measurements, preparing cutting lists and job orders, processing contract amendments, and providing technical assistance to Sales. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that production outputs conform to design standards while maintaining cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret plans, measurements, and project specifications to prepare accurate cutting lists and job orders. Price, label, verify, and process job orders based on sales contracts and agreed specifications. Prepare amendments and variation worksheets for changes, additional orders, and contract adjustments. Coordinate hardware requirements, raw material requests, and plant assignments for project orders. Monitor lump sum contract balances and prepare completion and clean-up reports. Provide technical support to the Sales Division and conduct project site inspections when required. Ensure accurate documentation, safekeeping, and backup of production and project files. Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior. What we're looking for

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field1+ years of experience in a technical writing or technical support role within a manufacturing environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation
• Proficient in using various software tools for technical writing and document management
• Intermediate-level proficiency in AutoCAD or other Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
• Adaptability to keep up with changing production processes and technologies
