Role Description The Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Quezon City. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, preparing and maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and account balances. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, prepare invoices, monitor collections, and ensure timely payments to suppliers. The role includes assisting with payroll calculations, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and preparation of financial statements and management reports. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management to support budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in general accounting, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, and ability to generate clear financial reports.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and basic payroll processing.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, support budgeting, and provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in accounting or finance, ideally within manufacturing, retail, or similar industries.
