About the Role

We're looking for a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer to help maintain a secure, performant, and reliable AWS environment. Working alongside senior engineers, you'll support and improve cloud infrastructure, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling that enable developers to deploy safely and independently. This role is ideal for someone who values simple, maintainable solutions and wants to develop their cloud engineering skills in a high-performance and regulated environment. Ideal Candidate (Must-Have Requirements)2+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Software development background with the ability to understand developer workflows and write clean automation
• Experience supporting agile product or software development teams
• Experience managing core AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and VPC networking
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security practices
• Experience supporting GitLab CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Close attention to detail with the ability to deliver initiatives from start to finish
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to infrastructure design
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of cloud and security initiatives
• Able to thrive in a high-performance environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Specialisation or strong experience in Azure, GCP, or Microsoft cloud technologies is preferred
• Experience with Terraform is desirable
• Amenable to working onsite in our Cebu Site (IT Park, Cebu City)

Tasks and

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure security, performance, and reliability
• Manage and support AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and VPC networking
• Support and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Maintain observability and monitoring tools used by engineering teams
• Identify and address infrastructure, security, and performance issues
• Implement security focused improvements across the cloud environment
• Support developers in deploying applications safely and independently
• Collaborate with senior engineers on cloud infrastructure initiatives
• Develop practical and maintainable infrastructure solutions
• Use Infrastructure as Code practices, including Terraform where applicable
• Monitor system health and help maintain production readiness and resilience
• Contribute to continuous improvement across cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes
