About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Australian Tax Accountant to join our growing team in Manila. This is a senior-level opportunity for an accounting professional with strong Australian tax experience who can independently manage complex tax and accounting work, communicate confidently with Australian clients, and provide high-quality technical support to the wider team. Selection Criteria5+ years of relevant accounting/tax experience, preferably with substantial Australian tax experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Australian tax compliance
- Experience preparing Australian tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and/or partnerships
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation principles and legislation
- Experience with BAS/IAS, GST, CGT, FBT, Division 7A, and related tax matters is highly desirable
- Experience using Xero and other Australian accounting/tax software
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable communicating directly with Australian clients
- Ability to review and mentor junior team members
- CPA Australia, CA ANZ, or Philippine CPA qualification is an advantage
- Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig. Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Australian individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns
- Prepare and review BAS, IAS, and other Australian tax-related compliance work
- Handle Australian tax compliance and accounting matters from start to finish
- Assist with tax planning and advisory work for Australian clients
- Review financial statements and supporting

- sIdentify tax issues and provide appropriate solutions and recommendations
- Ensure work complies with Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards
- Liaise directly with Australian clients, accountants, and other stakeholders
- Review work prepared by junior accountants and provide technical guidance
- Assist with improving accounting and tax processes, templates, and workflows
- Meet agreed deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality
