About the role
- Perform detailed financial analysis, financial modelling and valuation of subject companies and transactions; and present findings and recommendations.
- Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research and analysis.
- Prepare deal marketing documents, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management and investor presentations.
- Deliver clear and compelling presentations to clients, investors and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in client/ investor meetings, due diligence and in the preparation, review and execution of transaction documents in coordination with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure deal compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of internal reports and presentations, and management of internal client/ transaction files.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business development efforts.
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time that will support organizational goals and objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Major in Finance, Management/ Business Administration, Economics or Accounting.
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, and general financial knowledge;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and demonstrates problem-solving skills;
- Project and time management skills;
- Ability to collaborate effectively and be a contributing member of the team;
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines; and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
