IT HELP DESK TECHNICIAN (Level 1)

We are on the hunt for a sharp and empathetic IT Help Desk Technician to save the day. If you love tinkering and solving puzzles, have amazing skills in talking to people, enjoy helping and keeping clients happy, you're the tech wizard that we want on our team!

Key responsibilities

• First point of contact for clients who need technical assistance over the phone or via email
• Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
• Diagnose computer errors and provide technical support
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues using diagnostic techniques
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems
• Install, configure, upgrade PC software and operating systems
• User account management and Microsoft 365 administration
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT Technicians or 3rd party vendors
• Perform other job-related duties as and when assigned

About you

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or any related technical discipline
• Previous working experience as an IT Technician or IT Help Desk Staff for at least 2 years
• Experience working in a help desk environment is a plus
• Fluent in verbal and written English language
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High Emotional Intelligence (EQ)Highly organized to keep help desk tickets in order
• Detail-oriented to keep detailed
