Job Specification

Education/License : Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), With an updated PRC ID.

Work Experience : With at least three 3 Year(s) of SUPERVISORY/managerial experience in the field of accounting.

Knowledge/Skills : Demonstrate leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Formulates, establishes, and implements approved accounting control procedures;
• Updates and maintains financial records in journals, ledgers and other books of accounts;
• Compiles and analyzes financial documents and prepares financial statements and reports for presentation to the EAC Board;
• Conducts pre-audit procedures to correct accounting discrepancies and/or irregularities;
• Analyzes business operations - revenue, expenditure trends, receivables and payables to provide management vital information for business decisions;
• Oversees and updates maintenance of books of accounts general and subsidiary ledger, ledger for student’s accounts, etc.;
• Responsible for preparation and compliance with government financial reporting requirements - with the BIR, SEC, SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth;
• Responsible for payroll preparation - computation of salaries of all employees and application of withholding taxes, government mandated contributions, and other deductions;
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of financial reports to the President and Board of Directors to provide information on financial status of the School; and
• Responsible for the proper accounting of assets, liabilities, revenues and expenditures of the College;
• Performs other functions and responsibilities as may be prescribed by the President and/or the Board of Directors.
