LOOKING FOR ACCOUNTANT
Awards Central Philippines Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Accountant to support the company’s accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting and tax requirements.
JOB SUMMARY
The Accountant is responsible for managing daily accounting activities, preparing financial reports, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with tax and regulatory compliance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger accounts, and financial statements.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and company expenses.
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of BIR tax returns and other government compliance requirements.
- Monitor tax obligations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, BIR, SEC, banks, and other government agencies when necessary.
- Review financial transactions and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze financial data and assist management with financial reports and recommendations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Maintain proper accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Maintain organized and confidential financial records and documents.

- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- CPA license is an advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and BIR compliance.
- Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and account reconciliation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Able to handle confidential financial information.
- Willing to work on-site in Quezon City.
