Senior Remote Accountant (U.S. Accounting Experience Required)

The company is a growing outsourced accounting and advisory firm that helps U.S. businesses control costs, uncover financial trends, and make confident, data-driven decisions—without the overhead of a full-time finance department. We partner closely with our clients to deliver exceptional accounting, financial reporting, and strategic support while building long-term relationships based on trust and results. We are seeking an experienced Remote Accountant with a proven track record of supporting U.S.-based companies in a remote accounting environment. Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience managing the full accounting cycle, including:

• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Journal entries
• Creating Chart of accounts
• Month-end and year-end close
• Payroll support
• Financial statement preparation
• Maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online
• Work Schedule & Setup
• Remote, Philippines-based candidates only
• Stable internet connection and quiet home workspace
• Monday to Friday; 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST (9 PM to 6 AM MNL time)

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Has over five (5) years of experience providing full accounting cycle services to U.S.-based businesses.
• Has worked directly with U.S. clients and understands U.S. accounting standards, business practices, and client expectations.
• Can independently manage multiple clients or entities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Communicates professionally and confidently with clients and internal team members.
• Produces timely, accurate financial reports with minimal supervision.
• Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement. Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following platforms is highly desirable:

• Bill.com
• Ramp
• Xero
• NetSuite
• Other cloud-based accounting and financial management systems

Additional experience in the following areas is a strong advantage:

• Onboarding new accounting clients
• Setting up and optimizing chart of accounts
• Improving accounting workflows and internal processes
• Identifying efficiencies through automation and best practices
