About the role
The HR Officer - Organizational Development is responsible for supporting and implementing organizational development initiatives that enhance employee performance, leadership capability, talent management, succession planning, and overall organizational effectiveness. The role works closely with business leaders to develop programs that align workforce capabilities with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Development
Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of organizational development programs and interventions. Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and workplace culture. Support change management initiatives and organizational restructuring projects as needed. Succession Planning & Talent Management
Lead and coordinate the company's succession planning process to ensure leadership continuity and talent readiness. Identify critical positions and develop talent pipelines for key roles. Partner with department heads to assess high-potential employees and create development plans. Monitor succession metrics and recommend talent development strategies. Performance Management
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of performance management systems. Assist managers in goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development planning. Analyze performance trends and recommend improvement initiatives. Learning & Leadership Development
Identify competency gaps and recommend learning and development solutions. Coordinate leadership development and career progression programs. Support training needs analysis and evaluate program effectiveness.HR Analytics & Reporting
Prepare reports and presentations on organizational development and talent management initiatives. Analyze workforce data to identify trends and support decision-making. Monitor key HR metrics related to succession planning, employee development, and organizational effectiveness. Policy & Process Improvement
Recommend enhancements to HR processes, organizational structures, and employee development programs. Ensure compliance with company policies and HR best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Human Resources, with significant exposure to Organizational Development and Succession Planning is a must. Proven experience in talent management, performance management, and leadership development. Knowledge of competency-based frameworks, organizational design, and change management principles. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems. Preferred
Qualifications
Experience in retail, healthcare, pharmacy, or multi-site organizations is an advantage. Background in competency mapping, career pathing, and workforce planning.HR certifications or OD-related training are highly desirable.
