Efficient Living Group is a growing ecommerce company with brands including Lifely, Little Lifely, and Cushie Home. We create products and customer experiences for modern homes and families across several markets.

Role overview

We are looking for a Multimedia Designer who can combine motion design, video editing, graphic design, and product storytelling. You will create short-form videos, motion graphics, UGC edits, paid-social assets, product demonstrations, studio content, and supporting static designs.

This role must balance creative ideas with accurate products, clear hooks, strong pacing, platform requirements, and reliable delivery.

Requirements

What success looks like

  • Produce engaging motion and reel content for acquisition, retention, websites, and social channels
  • Create testable hooks, angles, edits, and visual variations from one brief
  • Identify winning angles and replicate converting ads measure by ROAS & engagement
  • Mastering AI tools to scale content velocity and fill content gaps
  • Improve content through feedback and performance learning
  • Support efficient in-house studio and content production
  • Deliver accurate, on-brand work on time

  • Repurpose UGC into paid ad content
  • Leverage AI tools to produce AI generated content for paid channels
  • Create engaging static, motion and reel ads for meta, instagram and other channels for evergreen and marketing campaigns

  • Contribute to concepts, storyboards, shot lists, scripts, and production plans
  • Attend and support studio or in-house content sessions
  • Identify missing assets, production risks, and technical blockers early
  • Take the lead on smaller projects when required
  • Performance and creative improvement
  • Use CTR, CVR, CPC, ROAS, retention, and feedback signals to improve future edits
  • Create testable variations without changing the core message by accident
  • Work with media buyers and creative leads to understand performance
  • Improve the first seconds, clarity, pacing, and product demonstration
  • Collaboration, QA, and delivery
  • Work closely with Mansell, designers, copywriters, ecommerce, performance marketing, and brand teams
  • Explain creative decisions, respond professionally to feedback, and revise quickly
  • Check spelling, captions, claims, product accuracy, audio, timing, links, ratios, and export quality
  • Prepare 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, and other required formats
  • Maintain clean editable project files and clear version control

Required Experience And Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial motion, video editing, multimedia, or digital content experience
  • Portfolio showing short-form video, motion graphics, UGC, paid social, or product storytelling
  • Strong After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or equivalent skills
  • Good understanding of timing, pacing, typography, composition, sound, and visual rhythm
  • Ability to create clear hooks and engaging first seconds
  • Strong Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva, or equivalent skills
  • Understanding of Meta, TikTok, Instagram, website, and ecommerce specifications
  • High attention to product, copy, claim, and export accuracy
  • Good time management, communication, and willingness to learn

A design degree is useful but is not required when the portfolio and practical ability are strong.

Highly regarded / nice to have

  • Product animation, 3D, Blender, Cinema 4D, or basic compositing
  • AI video and image tools with careful human review
  • Direct-response advertising or performance creative experience
  • In-house studio, UGC, or creator production experience
  • Furniture, home, family, lifestyle, or ecommerce experience

Tools and platforms

After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Higgsfield or other relevant tools.

  • Develop around three testable angles or hooks each week
  • Support at least three studio or in-house production sessions
  • Use performance and feedback data to improve the next creative batch
