Fullstack Engineer (NextJS/ReactJS)

NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group. About the role:NCS Philippines is seeking a talented Fullstack Engineer specialising in NextJS/ReactJS to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising both front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions that drive business value. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our technology stack and contribute to the delivery of innovative digital products. What you'll be doing: Design and develop full-stack web applications using NextJS and ReactJS frameworks

• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces that meet design specifications and user experience requirements
• Develop robust back-end services and APIs to support front-end functionality and business logic
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality and best practices
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Optimise application performance, including load times, responsiveness, and scalability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and production incidents
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to front-end and back-end development
• Document code and technical processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing
• What we're looking for: Proven professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3-5 years in software development
• Strong proficiency in NextJS and ReactJS for front-end development

SQL, Nest

• JS, React Vite, MongoDB, Keycloak, GraphQL, PHP/Laravel/AngularExperience with database design and management (SQL and/or NoSQL databases)
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and development
• Strong knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
• Familiarity with modern development tools, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of web security best practices and secure coding principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
