AI Engineer (Junior to Mid-Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking an AI Engineer who can turn real business problems into production-ready AI products, agents, and automated workflows. This is not a purely research or model-training role. You will work across AI engineering, software development, data, and product execution to take solutions from initial discovery and prototyping through integration, deployment, and continuous improvement. You will work with modern AI development tools including Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, and Zed, while building practical applications using LLMs, agentic workflows, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a builder who is comfortable with ambiguity, learns new technologies quickly, and understands that successful AI engineering is ultimately about solving real problems and delivering measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy production-ready AI applications and intelligent workflows
• Develop AI agents that can automate complex business and operational processes
• Build applications using Large Language Models, APIs, retrieval systems, structured data, and external tools
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Rapidly prototype AI solutions, validate them with users, and iterate based on real-world feedback
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing applications, platforms, and enterprise workflows
• Design and implement RAG, tool-calling, agentic, and context-aware AI architectures where appropriate
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and supporting infrastructure
• Evaluate model performance, reliability, latency, cost, and overall production readiness
• Collaborate directly with product, engineering, business stakeholders, and clients to understand problems and determine the right solution
• Improve developer productivity by incorporating AI-assisted engineering into coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and development workflows
• Apply secure engineering, data privacy, and responsible AI practices throughout development

Experience

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or a related technical role
• Hands-on experience building and shipping software or AI solutions into production
• Experience developing applications using Generative AI, LLMs, machine learning, or intelligent automation
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building complete applications, APIs, or backend services
• Experience working across the full development lifecycle from problem discovery and prototyping through production deployment
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments where requirements may evolve as solutions are developed

Technical Skills

AI Essentials

• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, machine learning fundamentals, embeddings, prompting, context management, and model evaluation
• Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable languages
• Ability to determine when AI, traditional software engineering, automation, or a combination of approaches is appropriate

AI Tool Mastery

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, and Zed, or the ability to quickly become proficient with them
• Experience using AI tools for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, architecture exploration, and rapid prototyping
• Familiarity with modern LLM APIs and AI development ecosystems
• Agentic AI & Automated Workflows
• Experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, or intelligent automation solutions
• Understanding of tool calling, structured outputs, context management, and multi-step AI workflows
• Experience with frameworks or technologies such as Lang
• Chain, MCP, or comparable agent orchestration approaches
• Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and business applications
• Software & Data Engineering
• Strong understanding of APIs, backend services, databases, and modern application architecture
• Experience working with SQL and structured or unstructured data
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understanding of CI/CD, containers, deployment, monitoring, and production support

Nice-to-Have

• Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)Experience developing multimodal or voice-based AI applications
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search
