About the role
Our partner is a pioneer in the mobile software industry having released its first mobile application in 2000. Since then the company's products and services have been used by over 100 million consumers globally, generating more than $1 billion in revenues. We are in search of a motivated Intermediate Software Developer to join our integrations team. We believe that nobody starts any role as an expert. We want to find motivated individuals who want to do their best work rather than finding someone who has done this before. What you will do:
- Work collaboratively on the design, implementation, and deployment of customized billing solutions; configure and customize the products based on internal and external requirements
- Monitor performance of launched products and build tools to monitor their success
- Have an opportunity to learn and use many different technologies
- Be supported with training and mentoring; have the opportunity to provide training and mentoring to junior developers
- Work on complex problems that benefit from a diverse range of skills, experiences, and viewpoints to produce the best possible work
Who you are
- Problem solver with a willingness to share recommendations for improvements
- Desire and commitment to continuous learning
- Proactive, inquisitive, organized, and a self-starter
- Strong communicator and good interpersonal skills
- Post-Secondary education in computing science or computer engineering or an equivalent program
- At least 1 year of professional development experience
- Professional experience with Python, Java, or Perl programming languages is preferred
- Motivated to learn, grow, and overcome challenges together
Nice to have
- Familiarity with building back-end web services
- Familiarity with Python, Perl or Java
- Familiarity with SQL or DJANGO
- Experience designing and documenting systems
- Docker experience
