Remote Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of the company’s financial records and ensure accurate, timely reporting. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the accounting cycle, from data entry to financial statement preparation, including payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and manage the full general ledger and all bookkeeping functions

• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and billing
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain accurate financial records
• Perform month-end and year-end closings and generate financial reports
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Manage payroll processing and related tax filings
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for improvements
• Maintain organized records and support document retention procedures
• Qualifications: Proven experience (4+ years) as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)Proficient in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with payroll platforms (e.g., Gusto, ADP, Paychex)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
