Technical Support Associate

I. PURPOSEResponsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of auxiliary systems and structured cabling infrastructure to ensure reliable network connectivity and system availability, in alignment with TGI competencies.II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, test, label, and maintain structured cabling systems (copper, fiber, racks, patch panels)
• Support auxiliary systems such as CCTV, access control, PA, and related low-current systems
• Perform fault isolation, cable testing, and basic network troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with cabling standards, drawings, and safety requirements
• Complete tasks according to project timelines, SLAs, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate documentation (as-built drawings, test results, reports)
• Follow company policies, procedures, and site regulations
• Proactively identify issues and recommend improvements
• Communicate clearly with users, vendors, and project teams
• Demonstrate professionalism and customer-focused support
• Collaborate effectively with engineers and contractors on-site

QUALIFICATIONS

A. Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Vocational or related field.B. Minimum Experience/Training
• At least (3) years of hands-on experience in providing technical support, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Experience in supporting auxiliary and electrical systems (e.g., CCTV, FDAS, access control, BMS)
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.C. Competency

IV. WORKING CONDITIONS

• May require working beyond normal business hours, including weekends and holidays to meet project deadlines or address urgent client issues
