Customer Service & Docs Specialist (Shipping Lines)

Primary Function: Responsible in handling the customer service and documentation while also maintaining documentation related to customer interactions and processes. This role ensures excellent customer service and efficient operations. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Handles escalated customer inquiries and issues that requires intervention.2. Assists in resolving customer problems, providing guidance and expertise.3. Handles booking, Bill of Lading preparation, billings, pre-alert documents, weekly report and other CS and documentation matters.4. Constantly update and prepare consolidated vessel schedule for different principals.5. Constantly supervise and monitors the status of transported container and proactively relays/updates client of the necessary information such as, but not limited to location, arrival, departure, BL/House number, or with its irregularities on documents with the cargo itself, issuance of Bills of Lading, pre-alerts, and invoices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/transportation or related field. Minimum 2-5 years of experience as CS & Documentation preferably in a shipping lines

Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)Able to operate various kind of office equipment (telephone, printer, fax etc.)Knowledge of incoterms, billing requirements, import/export process and regulations exposed in logistics chain solution. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
