Software Developer

The Software Developer plays a key role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support our products, internal systems, and client requirements. This position works closely with project managers, designers, senior developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality applications that improve educational experiences and operational efficiency. You will contribute to software projects throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. What you'll be doing

Software Development Understand client and project requirements and collaborate with colleagues to design appropriate solutions. Assist in development across the stack — frontend, backend, and APIs — under the guidance of senior developers. Configure, build, and test application components in line with the project's technical architecture. Produce clean, efficient code based on project requirements, following the team's development best practices. Perform unit testing to help ensure code quality. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects or performance issues in new and existing software. Design, improve, and test user interfaces to enhance usability. Stay current with coding standards, tools, and best practices for web and mobile application development. Documentation Document source code, workflows, and technical processes to support maintainability and future enhancements. Develop technical documentation, deployment guides, and system manuals for internal and client use. Create user guides, tutorials, and training materials to support staff and client adoption of developed solutions. Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the software development lifecycle Project Support Assist in the implementation and deployment of software projects according to approved timelines and project plans. Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, systems, and applications. Provide regular updates on assigned tasks, project milestones, and potential risks to project leads and management. Compile, analyze, and provide recommendations based on user feedback and system performance data. Participate in project meetings, sprint planning sessions, code reviews, and technical discussions. Support post-deployment activities, including maintenance, monitoring, and issue resolution. Other Expectations Must be reachable by phone or email for urgent or time-sensitive tasks. Assist with company events as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by management from time to time.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 2–3 years of experience in software development, web development, mobile development, or related technical roles. Knowledge of modern programming languages, frameworks, and development tools. Experience developing and maintaining web applications, APIs, or mobile applications. Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or C++Understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, and testing practices. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
