Systems Developer | Software & Database Applications

We are looking for an experienced Systems Developer who can help maintain, enhance, and secure the company’s business applications, databases, and source code. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, improving existing systems, and developing reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications and internal systems. Modify and enhance existing programs based on operational and business requirements. Maintain company databases, application systems, and report templates. Compile programs and ensure that system updates are properly implemented. Protect program source codes and ensure that backups are completed accurately and on time. Help secure server data against unauthorized access, loss, or corruption. Troubleshoot system issues and recommend practical, long-term solutions. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications, processes, and system changes. Assist with software installation, configuration, testing, and deployment. Keep systems aligned with current technology trends and evolving business needs. Coordinate with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver effective system solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in software or systems development. Strong programming background with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining applications. Good understanding of databases, source-code management, system security, and data backup procedures. Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and system reliability. Able to keep up with fast-changing technologies and industry trends.A collaborative team player who can also work independently. Good communication and documentation skills.
