Audit & Accounting Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate with experience in Audit or Vendor Management to join our team. The role involves supporting financial operations, managing vendor-related transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting with audit requirements. Responsibilities

Manage vendor accounts, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and account reconciliations. Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve billing and payment discrepancies. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Assist in internal and external audit activities by gathering and validating required documents. Perform account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Generate reports and provide analysis related to vendor transactions and audit findings. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 1-3 years of accounting experience with exposure to audit and vendor management/accounts payable functions. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes. Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to work onsite and on a night shift schedule.
