About the role

The Data Analyst transforms raw project and procurement data into actionable insights that support the team's decision-making. The role covers two core functions: (1) providing data-driven pricing recommendations to support bid submissions using historical project data, and (2) building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and templates that give leadership clear visibility into business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update a historical database of project costs, bid prices, awarded amounts, and profit margins
• Analyze historical data to recommend competitive and profitable bid prices for each new opportunity
• Calculate cost estimates including total project cost, admin charge, expected margin, and deductions
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Build reports tracking key metrics: project pipeline, win rates, margins, and collection status
• Create standardized report and analysis templates for recurring business reporting needs
• Automate recurring reports where possible to reduce manual effort and ensure consistency

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in data analysis, pricing, or reporting roles
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
• SQL or Python for data querying and analysis (preferred)
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in pricing accuracy
• Background in procurement cost analysis or supply chain costing
• Experience building or automating BI dashboards and report pipelines
• Fresh graduates with strong academic standing may be considered.
