BIM Coordinator or MEP Engineer

We are seeking a BIM Coordinator or an experienced MEP Engineer to coordinate building systems, review multidisciplinary models, and help resolve conflicts between plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. This role focuses on working with models and coordinating systems; Revit family creation skills are not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate plumbing, electrical, and HVAC models, identifying clashes and interfaces that require attention.
• Discuss coordination issues with discipline engineers, explain proposed solutions, and follow up on agreed changes.
• Utilize Navisworks to review combined models, run clash checks, and track coordination issues.
• Work with cloud-hosted models, check versions using the platform’s built-in tools, and present relevant model views during discussions.
• Maintain accurate coordination records, paying close attention to dates, revisions, formatting, and project requirements.

Preferred Profile

An experienced BIM Coordinator with a strong understanding of MEP systems and practical experience resolving clashes between disciplines. We also welcome experienced MEP Engineers who have a solid foundation in one discipline, understand adjacent systems, and are ready to take on broader coordination responsibilities.

• Solid engineering experience in at least one MEP discipline: plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.
• Basic understanding of other MEP disciplines and how their systems interact.
• Practical experience with Navisworks and working with BIM models.
• Basic experience navigating cloud-based model platforms and checking model versions.
• English proficiency sufficient to understand other discipline engineers and explain coordination decisions.
• Strong attention to detail, including document dates, model versions, formatting, and follow-up actions.
