Website Developer

Nespresso Ph is seeking a talented Website Developer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As Website Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our digital presence, ensuring our online platforms are responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand vision. This position is integral to supporting Nespresso's digital transformation and delivering exceptional experiences to our customers online.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy responsive websites and web applications that meet business requirements and user expectations
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate concepts into functional web solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal website performance and user experience
• Optimise website performance, load times, and scalability across multiple devices and browsers
• Implement and integrate third-party services, APIs, and plugins to enhance website functionality
• Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring security patches and software updates are applied promptly
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and development trends
• Document code, processes, and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience as a Website Developer or similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in web development
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and Java

Script

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Solid understanding of back-end development principles and experience with server-side languages such as PHP, Python, Node.js, or Java
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitUnderstanding of web design principles, responsive design, and user experience (UX) best practices
• Familiarity with web security principles and best practices for data protection
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Preferred experience with e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, or luxury brand web development
