About the role
The HR Associate performs recruitment and onboarding functions to support the organization's workforce requirements and ensure the timely and effective hiring of qualified employees. The role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, including manpower requisition coordination, job posting, sourcing, candidate screening, interview coordination, candidate assessment, selection, pre-employment requirements, job offer and employment documentation, and onboarding. The position also assists in new employee orientation, preparation and release of employment-related documents, employee ID and uniform coordination, recruitment reporting, talent pool management, and other HR initiatives. The HR Associate works closely with the HR Recruiter, hiring managers, project teams, and candidates to ensure a smooth and positive recruitment and onboarding experience. Key responsibilities
- Coordinates with the HR Recruiter and concerned hiring managers regarding manpower requirements, job vacancies, and recruitment priorities
- Assists in reviewing and finalizing job description s and recruitment requirements for assigned vacancies
- Posts job vacancies through appropriate recruitment channels and platforms
Conducts active sourcing using online job portals, social media, professional networks, referrals, institutional partnerships, and other traditional and non-traditional sourcing channels
Identifies and develops potential sources of qualified candidates, including universities, professional organizations, industry networks, and other relevant institutions
- Maintains and develops a talent pool of potential candidates for current and future hiring requirements
- Conducts targeted sourcing for hard-to-fill or specialized positions, including identifying and engaging passive candidates when necessary
- Monitors recruitment pipelines and ensures that assigned vacancies are progressed in a timely manner
- Reviews applications and resumes against established job requirements and qualifications
- Conducts initial screening and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, skills, and overall fit with the position
About you
- Knowledge of recruitment and selection principles, practices, and processes
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment channels, including online job portals and social media platforms
- Understanding of the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process
- Basic knowledge of employment practices and HR policies and procedures
- Strong candidate screening and interviewing skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing candidate information and maintaining recruitment documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace applications
