Full Job Description
The HR Supervisor oversees the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring effective implementation of company policies, proper employee records, timely payroll and benefits processing, and compliance with labor laws and company standards. The role also supervises HR staff and provides support to employees and branch management regarding HR concerns. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Staffing
Coordinate recruitment activities and ensure timely filling of manpower requirements. Review applications, conduct initial interviews, and assist in applicant screening. Coordinate job postings, interviews, and onboarding activities. Monitor staffing requirements of branches and departments. Employee Relations
Handle employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues professionally. Assist in investigating employee violations and preparing HR documents such as Notices to Explain, memoranda, and disciplinary notices. Ensure proper implementation of company rules, policies, and procedures. Conduct counseling and provide guidance to employees when necessary. Attendance and Timekeeping
Monitor employee attendance, tardiness, absences, undertime, and overtime. Review and validate timekeeping records before payroll processing. Coordinate with branch heads and supervisors regarding attendance discrepancies. Monitor habitual tardiness and unauthorized absences and recommend appropriate action. Payroll and Benefits
Assist in payroll preparation and validation. Ensure accurate employee salary, deductions, overtime, incentives, and other payroll-related information. Coordinate employee benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, leave credits, and other company benefits. Assist employees with payroll and benefits-related concerns. Employee Records and Documentation
Maintain accurate and updated employee 201 files and HR records. Prepare employment contracts, certificates, HR notices, and other personnel documents. Monitor probationary and regularization status of employees. Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information. Labor Compliance
Ensure HR practices are aligned with applicable Philippine labor laws and DOLE requirements. Assist in preparing documents for government inspections, audits, and labor-related concerns. Monitor compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Coordinate with management regarding labor and employee relations matters.HR Staff Supervision
Supervise and guide HR Assistants and other HR personnel. Assign daily tasks and monitor completion of HR activities. Review HR reports and ensure accuracy of submitted documents. Train and coach HR staff on proper HR procedures. Reports and HR Administration
Prepare regular HR reports on manpower, attendance, turnover, recruitment, disciplinary cases, and other HR metrics. Maintain organized HR files and databases. Coordinate with different departments and branches regarding HR requirements. Perform other HR-related duties assigned by management. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a supervisory or senior HR role. Experience in recruitment, employee relations, timekeeping, payroll, benefits, and labor compliance. Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Able to handle confidential information professionally. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and HR systems. Willing to work with multiple branches and coordinate with different departments. Benefits
