We are looking for a UI/UX Developer to set the design direction for our delivery team in Iloilo, Philippines. You will own UI/UX across multiple client projects, working closely with developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. You will be responsible for determining how each product looks, feels, and flows—from initial concepts and wireframes through to production-ready interfaces. Most projects start from a blank canvas, primarily involving new web applications with mobile experiences as needed. The role requires someone who can confidently move between client presentations and hands-on design sessions with technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead UI/UX design end-to-end, from initial concepts and wireframes to production-ready interfaces. Design new digital products and applications from scratch. Establish design principles, standards, and direction for each project. Go beyond visual design by focusing on user flows, information architecture, usability, and overall user experience. Translate client requirements and business objectives into practical UI/UX concepts and design solutions. Present, explain, and defend design decisions directly to clients. Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with project requirements. Maintain consistency and quality across multiple client projects. Requirements & Qualifications3+ years of professional experience designing UI/UX for real, shipped digital products. Strong understanding of both UI design and UX principles, including visual design, interaction design, user flows, information architecture, and usability. Clear understanding of design principles and the ability to explain the reasoning behind design decisions. Proven experience working cross-functionally with developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. Strong ability to understand client requirements and translate them into effective and practical design solutions. Strong understanding of business processes, software workflows, and logical flows. Good English communication skills, both written and verbal. Willing to work full-time, on-site in Iloilo City.A portfolio is highly encouraged but not required to apply. Nice to Have

Strong working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable design and prototyping tools. Agency, consulting, or multi-client project experience. Experience handling multiple projects or clients simultaneously. Knowledge of RESTful API implementations and how APIs influence product design and user flows. Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and React.js, preferably Payload CMS.Experience designing for both web and mobile applications. Experience creating or maintaining design systems, design standards, or UI/UX processes. Experience mentoring designers or providing design direction to other team members.
