About the role
- Conduct in depth analysis of business requirements, getting to the root cause behind what clients are asking for
- Translate those needs into clear functional specs that Product and Engineering can act on
- Run gap analysis between requirements and existing product capabilities
- Build business cases and cost-benefit/ROI analyses for proposed solutions or customizations
- Analyze operational data to surface insights that strengthen solution recommendations
- Support on complex, data-heavy cases that need deeper analytical work
- Maintain clean, standardized requirement documentation as the link between Sales, Product, and Engineering
- Feed data-driven input into product roadmap prioritization
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's in Information Systems, Management, Statistics, or related field
- Experience 3+ years as a Business Analyst / System Analyst, ideally from a SaaS, tech company
- Strong analytical thinking, able to turn data into insight and recommendations, not just summarize it
- Proficient in SQL and advanced Excel/Google Sheets (required)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker) is a plus
- Skilled at writing clear BRDs/FRDs/user stories
- Sharp, critical questioning to uncover clients' real needs behind stated requests
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working cross-functionally, bridging Sales, Product, and Engineering
- Detail-oriented while still able to see the bigger business impact
