An Application Specialist role focused on ensuring smooth business application service operations by resolving issues in a timely manner and facilitating the transition of application features from development to production environments. Key responsibilities
- Ensure smooth business application service operations by resolving issues in a timely manner
- Facilitate smooth transition of application features from development to production environments
- Actively develop continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of business application service operations
- Assist in the automation of existing manual activities to improve the consistency and efficiency of business application service delivery to end-users
- Effectively communicate to stakeholders as part of incident/problem management
- Manage escalations related to operational topics
Qualifications: Advanced SQL Scripting: With at least 6-10+ years in SQL preferably MSSQL. Strong intermediate to advanced SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries for application troubleshooting, data analysis, and issue resolution. Application & Production Support: Proven experience in application and production support, including incident management, problem management, root-cause analysis, and timely issue resolution. Technical Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to translate technical SQL solutions and application issues into clear business context. Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively manage incidents, operational escalations, expectations, and cross-functional collaboration. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts, SQL logic, issues, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Good to have but not required:AWS Cloud Services
- Background in Data Analytics, Data Engineer, ETL Processes
- CICD tools like github, gitlab, git, jenkinsJava/Python Programming languageMSSQL/Snowflake Database
