IT Project Manager [FULL ONSITE | ORTIGAS]

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish. S/he supervises tasks, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and ensures the timely completion of the project. The Project Manager must also foresee potential blockers and find proper solutions to mitigate or eliminate them ensuring project success.

Key responsibilities

• Identify project goals, needs, and scope
• Facilitate the business case creation and contracting activities
• Responsible for planning, monitoring, and documenting tasks throughout a project
• Ensure that all tasks, deliverables, and project materials are delivered promptly
• Manage all resources necessary for project execution
• Manage and track project budget
• Foster effective communication with stakeholders concerning project status
• Responsible for foreseeing and strategically eliminating blockers and potential risks
• Document each step of the process using various project management tools

Prioritize change requests, execute impact assessment, able to make decisions to accept or reject changes, and communicate clearly the decision to different stakeholders

About you

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related/relevant fields
• Between 5 and 15 years of experience as full-time project manager (directly managing the team) in financial services
• Very conversant with different project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, PMP, Kanban) and preferably certified
• Demonstrated experience in managing minimally 2 large projects (> 1year, > 30 people, > USD 5mill)
• Good practical knowledge of developing WBS, Risk management, Issue management, Dependency management
• Excellent written/ verbal communication skills
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Has keen attention to details
