Full job description

WILL BE ASSIGNED IN DUMAGUETE AND CANLAON.

JOB FUNCTION

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and overseeing construction and engineering projects to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. The role involves preparing technical plans and estimates, monitoring project progress, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and budget preparation for projects.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure that construction activities follow approved plans and engineering standards.
• Identify project issues and provide appropriate technical and practical solutions.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control to ensure efficient use of project resources.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and other required documentation.
• Review and evaluate materials, workmanship, and completed works for quality compliance.
• Participate in negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and other project partners.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a Registered Civil Engineer.
• With strong knowledge of basic engineering principles and practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch

Up, STAAD, MS Project, MS Excel, and other relevant engineering applications.

• Knowledgeable in cost estimation and quantity take-off.
• Knowledgeable in budgeting and cost control.
• Skilled in project planning and scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
• Willing to conduct site visits and work in a project/construction environment.

Pay: Up to Php18,000.00 per month
