About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and services using WebAPI and .NET Core.
- Write efficient, reusable, and scalable C# code following best practices.
- Work with WCF for service-oriented architecture components and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Product Owners, and Architects to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft .NET development.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and WebAPI.
- Solid understanding of WCF and experience working with service-based architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, including writing complex queries, joins, and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Agile/Scrum environment experience.
