We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to manage the day to-day financial operations of a growing adaptive clothing company serving seniors. This role requires expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks, including system setup, optimization, and ongoing management. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and capable of maintaining accurate financial records while supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities

QuickBooks Setup & Management 1. Set up and fully manage QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) 2. Configure chart of accounts, products, inventory, and categories 3. Ensure proper integration with banking, payment processors, and sales platforms (eCommerce/POS if applicable) 4. Maintain clean, accurate, and audit-ready books

Bookkeeping & Daily Accounting1. Record all financial transactions (sales, expenses, inventory, payments) 2. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable 3. Process vendor bills, customer invoices, and payment tracking 4. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Inventory & Cost Tracking 1. Track inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and product margins 2. Reconcile inventory between QuickBooks and sales systems 3. Monitor purchase orders and vendor costs Financial Reporting 1. Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) 2. Provide insights on profitability, margins, and expense trends 3. Assist leadership with budgeting and financial planning

Compliance & Process Improvement 1. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies 2. Prepare documentation for tax filings and audits 3. Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and controls

Qualifications 1. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant 2. Advanced / Expert-level QuickBooks experience (required) 3. Proficient with integration between QuickBooks and Point of Sales software such as Shopify 4. Strong understanding of inventory-based accounting and COGS 5. Experience with eCommerce platforms is a plus (Shopify, Amazon, or similar) is a plus 6. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills 7. Ability to work independently and manage priorities Preferred Experience 1. Experience in retail, apparel, or eCommerce businesses 2. Familiarity with inventory management systems 3.
