Experienced Bookkeeper

This position is available on a full-time basis for the right candidate. You will manage bookkeeping and payroll responsibilities for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries while working closely with our experienced team.

Key responsibilities

• End-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing payroll and payroll compliance
• Processing superannuation and payroll reporting
• BAS preparation assistance and maintaining accurate financial records
• Coding transactions and understanding Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts
• Liaising with clients and responding to bookkeeping enquiries
• Assisting with month-end bookkeeping processes

About you

• Previous bookkeeping experience (experience within an accounting or bookkeeping firm is highly regarded)XERO, MYOB and QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience
• Excellent payroll knowledge, including awards, superannuation and STPStrong reconciliation skills
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise work, multitask and work independently
• Full Australian working rights
• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (Highly Regarded)BAS Agent experience or working towards registration (Highly Regarded)
