Company Nurse

The Company Nurse is responsible for providing basic healthcare services to employees, promoting workplace health and safety, managing medical records, and assisting in the prevention and management of workplace illnesses and injuries.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first aid and immediate medical assistance to employees who become ill or injured at work. Conduct basic health assessments and monitor employees' health conditions. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation. Manage and maintain the company clinic, including medicines, medical supplies, and equipment. Coordinate employee referrals to hospitals, clinics, or physicians when necessary. Assist in handling workplace accidents and occupational injuries. Monitor and report work-related illnesses and injuries. Conduct health and wellness programs, including health education and preventive-care activities. Assist with pre-employment and annual medical examinations. Coordinate with HR regarding employee health concerns, sick leave, and return-to-work requirements while maintaining medical confidentiality. Participate in workplace health and safety programs and emergency preparedness activities. Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety regulations. Prepare medical and health-related reports as required by management. Perform other health-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license. Preferably with experience in occupational/company nursing. Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety practices. Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and professionally. Knowledge of first aid and basic life support is an advantage. Proficient in basic documentation and computer applications.
