2 Junior Accountants

The Junior Accountant shall provide assistance and support to the Finance Team through performing clerical tasks, financial document filing and monitoring, payment processing, preparation of journal entries and recording of transactions, assistance in month-end reconciliations, preparation of tax computations, communication with internal and external stakeholders and other related duties in accordance with the company's financial accounting and finance policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier/vendor invoices, employee payment endorsement, site fund projections and other payment obligations
• Prepare payment vouchers, printing and issuance of check payments
• Prepare journal entries for recording of expense and other disbursements
• Prepare journal entries for cash receipts and other financial transactions
• Handle communications with vendors, bank representatives, government agencies and other stakeholders
• Assist in preparation of monthly bank reconciliation
• Responsible for filing and ensuring completeness of documents of all relevant expense, purchase, and other disbursements
• Prepare computation and file tax returns and related documentation
• Assist in the monthly closing process
• Assist in preparing financial reports requested by other teams and/or required by regulatory agencies

About you

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or any business-related course
• Adept in MS Office, particularly MS Excel functions
• Experience in QuickBooks or equivalent is an advantage
• Keen on details and willing to learn and flexible to handle multiple tasks
