About the role
We are seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare administration team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring smooth patient experiences and efficient clinic operations. As a Patient Coordinator, you will be the crucial link between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff, ensuring that patient care flows seamlessly from initial contact through to treatment completion. This position is essential to maintaining our high standards of patient service and operational excellence within the medical administration function. What you'll be doing
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing the clinic calendar to optimise provider availability and patient convenience
- Communicating with patients regarding appointment reminders, follow-ups, and any pre-visit instructions or requirements
- Facilitating communication between patients and clinical staff regarding concerns, questions, or special needs
- Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare privacy regulations and clinic policies
- Contributing to a positive clinic environment through professional and compassionate patient interactions
- Supporting the clinic by handling incoming calls and inquiries via different channels
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a patient-facing or customer service role, ideally within a healthcare or medical setting
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
- Proficiency in using medical office software, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and general computer applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology, billing concepts, and insurance procedures is advantageous
- Demonstrated commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations such as data protection standards
- Professional demeanour with strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards patients' needs
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing clinic needs and procedures
- Sales background preferred
