Backend Developer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will take ownership of the business-critical systems that power our high-volume digital platform's growth and operational success. You will be the technical authority for our complex Loyalty and Promotions Engine and our data-intensive Admin Backoffice. This is a high-impact role where you will design and build the fault-tolerant, scalable backend systems our business relies on.

Responsibilities

\* Design, build, and maintain the services powering our user loyalty programs, including account credits, cashback, bonuses, and complex rewards qualification logic.

\* Own the end-to-end lifecycle of features for the Admin Backoffice, with a strong focus on analytics, reporting, and user management tools.

\* Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, particularly within our Microsoft SQL Server database by writing and optimizing complex stored procedures.

\* Enhance system resilience by building robust, asynchronous workflows using our Rabbit

MQ-based event bus.

\* Collaborate closely with Product and Operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

\* Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring the stability and integrity of our core transactional and user activity data.

Qualifications

\* 3+ years of professional backend development experience using .NET (Framework or Core/6/8) with C#.

\* Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including complex query writing, performance tuning, and extensive experience with stored procedures.

\* Demonstrated experience building systems with complex business logic (e.g., financial calculations, promotions, or workflow automation).

\* Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues in a live, distributed production environment.

\* A pragmatic approach to problem-solving with a strong sense of ownership.

Bonus Points

\* Experience in high-transaction industries like e-commerce, digital entertainment, Fin

Tech, or loyalty/rewards platforms.

\* Hands-on experience with messaging queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

\* Familiarity with modern observability tools (Grafana, Loki, etc.).

\* Knowledge of design patterns like CQRS.

\* Experience working on multi-tenant platforms.
