The Qualifications We Seek

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field3-5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment

• Hands-on Australian healthcare recruitment experience, with strong preference for Aged Care or In-Home Care
• Proven experience recruiting Support Workers, Disability Support Workers, Registered Nurses, or similar healthcare roles for the Australian market
• Strong capability in candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, stakeholder management, and end-to-end recruitment
• Good understanding of Australian healthcare workforce compliance requirements, including screening, checks, documentation, and escalation procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with candidates, clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies, priorities, and recruitment activities
• Proficiency in recruitment systems, digital tools, documentation, data management, and record-keeping platforms
• Strong awareness of workplace safety, risk identification, professional standards, and applicable policies and procedures
• Proactive, accountable, and detail-oriented, with sound judgment and a strong focus on candidate quality, compliance, and timely delivery
• Collaborative and professional, with the ability to support team reliability, service quality, and continuous improvement
• Familiarity with AI, automation, and digital tools that improve efficiency and accuracy is an advantage
• Commitment to person-centred care, dignity, safety, and positive client outcomes

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across assigned healthcare roles, from advertising and sourcing through screening, interviews, selection, and progression
• Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for priority and emerging workforce needs
• Keep vacancies moving efficiently by maintaining timely candidate communication and minimizing delays throughout the hiring process
• Apply structured screening and verification to ensure candidates meet role, credential, clearance, and regulatory

requirements

• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready recruitment records in line with organizational and legislative standards
• Partner with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, communicate recruitment progress, and provide informed recommendations on candidate suitability
• Work closely with onboarding and care teams to support smooth candidate transitions into employment
• Monitor pipeline strength, hiring progress, conversion, and recruitment risks, escalating issues such as delays or limited candidate coverage when needed
• Maintain reliable recruitment data to support reporting, workforce planning, and informed hiring decisions
• Deliver a professional candidate experience by clearly communicating role expectations, compliance requirements, and

next steps

Support quality, compliance, governance, and continuous improvement by following established policies, completing required training, and escalating relevant risks or concerns appropriately
