About the role

Finance / Accounts Assistant — Cagayan de Oro₱13,000 – ₱16,000/month

We're growing fast and hiring people who want more than a desk job - real variety, real ownership, and room to move up, this role puts you directly in touch with Australian client's finance functions - real exposure to ATO compliance, BAS lodgement, and payroll for a growing overseas business, not just back-office data entry. What you'll actually doPrepare and lodge BAS, GST reports, and other ATO-compliant tax documentation

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping: transaction entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
  • Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis
  • Assist with superannuation calculations and compliance reporting
  • Work directly with the client's internal finance team — this isn't back-office isolation, you'll be a real part of their operation
  • Who we're looking forAt least 1 year of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to Australian bookkeeping and taxation
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Xero, MYOB, or Quick

Books

  • Familiarity with Australian GST and superannuation compliance is preferred
  • High accuracy, strong attention to detail, and comfort handling sensitive financial data with discretion
  • Excellent English communication - you'll be liaising directly with the client
  • Nice to have (not required)
  • Prior experience with Australian clients specifically
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Experience using AI tools (Chat
  • GPT, Gemini, Claude) to streamline finance work
  • Exposure to CRMs like HubSpot or Zoho
