About the role
We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Manager who will lead the company’s employee and labor relations initiatives, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws, consistent application of company policies, and fair and effective resolution of workplace concerns. Key Responsibilities: Ensure strict adherence to the Philippine Labor Code, DOLE general labor standards, and statutory reporting (e.g., establishment registrations). Develop policies and update the company's Code of Conduct, ensuring it is consistently applied company-wide, across all plants and branches. Mediate complex employee disputes and oversee administrative investigation(handling fact finding proceedings, Notices to Explain, and administrative hearings, except those conducted through Legal, with high procedural and substantive fairness). Manage a centralized case tracking system to analyze ER trends, identify risk hotspots, and formulate preventative coaching programs for department and branch supervisors and managers as well as HR Officers handling ER/IRDesign and facilitate capability-building sessions for supervisors, managers, and HR Supervisors/HR Business Partners regarding disciplinary processes, labor laws, and the handling of grievances. Act as the strategic subject matter expert for ER Officers and department managers on workforce engagement, and collaborate with Immediate Superior and management on labor matters
Work alongside Immediate Superior, HR Team, Legal, OSH (Occupational Safety and Health), to ensure holistic employee wellness and fair work practices
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or Law.5 to 8 years of total HR experience, with at least 3 to 5 years specifically focused on employee relations, labor relations, or case management. Deep understanding of the Philippine Labor Code, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulations, National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) procedures, and strict adherence to due process (twin-notice rule). Proven ability to lead independent workplace investigations, handle grievances, and manage disciplinary actions. Strong mediation, negotiation, and crisis management skills to de-escalate sensitive workplace issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reviewing, approving and/or drafting notices, administrative decisions, and policies. High level of professional integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee matters.
