About the Role We are looking for an AI / Machine Learning Engineer with a strong Data Science and Machine Learning background to join a product and engineering team developing technology for industrial and manufacturing businesses. The role will focus on applying machine learning, data science and AI to practical manufacturing and business problems, including data preparation, model development, testing and deployment. A key area of the role will be working with time-series data and anomaly detection. As the product evolves, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to LLM-based applications and AI agents, helping turn ML and AI capabilities into practical product features and workflows. You will work closely with software engineers and product leadership to understand problems, investigate data, develop solutions and bring ML capabilities into production. We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive and comfortable learning. You should be willing to investigate unfamiliar problems, ask good questions, explore new approaches and quickly come up to speed on new technologies or business requirements. You should also be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of finding practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, transform and engineer data for machine learning applications. Develop and maintain ML data preparation and engineering pipelines. Train, tune and test machine learning models. Work with time-series data and anomaly detection, including approaches such as LSTM and VAE.Evaluate model performance and improve models based on real-world requirements. Apply Data Science and ML to solve practical business and product problems. Help integrate ML models into production software and SaaS applications. Work with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into practical ML solutions. Investigate new AI/ML techniques and technologies where they can provide meaningful product value. Contribute to LLM applications and AI agent development as these capabilities become part of the product roadmap. Essential Experience4+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or a closely related field.3+ years of professional Python experience, with strong ability to develop production-quality data and ML solutions. Hands-on experience developing, training, tuning and evaluating machine learning models. Strong experience with ML data preparation, feature engineering and data/ML pipelines. Experience working with time-series data and anomaly detection, including approaches such as LSTM and/or VAE.Experience applying Data Science and AI/ML to practical business or product problems, with a focus on measurable outcomes. Professional experience working with AWS for ML, data or application workloads. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex or unfamiliar problems independently. Demonstrated curiosity and proactiveness, with a willingness to learn new technologies, explore different approaches and quickly come up to speed on new technical or business requirements.
