Talent Acquisition Partner, ANZWe are looking for a committed Recruitment Partner for Australia and New Zealand. Located in Manila within Aon’s Pacific Talent Acquisition group, the Talent Acquisition Partner will oversee the full recruitment process across ANZ. The position supports recruitment leads, People colleagues, and senior management by blending effective delivery, market knowledge, proactive sourcing, and inclusive, skills-focused hiring to draw in high-caliber candidates. Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned portfolios, from requisition intake through sourcing, assessment, offer acceptance, and onboarding hand-off. Lead intake meetings to clarify business priorities, role outcomes, skills, candidate profiles, timelines, and assessment requirements. Develop recruitment strategies aligned to the role, talent market, location, remuneration, and service expectations. Advise hiring managers, People Partners, and leaders with market intelligence, pipeline insights, and clear recommendations. Prioritize direct sourcing and engage active and passive talent through networks, referrals, mapping, social channels, mobility, and campaigns. Build sustainable pipelines for recurring, critical, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles. Create clear, inclusive job advertising and candidate messaging that reflects the role, required skills, Aon’s values, and employee proposition. Assess candidates against agreed skills, experience, and behavioural criteria to produce high-quality, diverse shortlists. Coordinate interviews and assessments, manage logistics, anticipate delays, and maintain a seamless candidate and stakeholder experience. Manage finalist due diligence, approvals, offers, negotiation, checks, and written-offer coordination in line with Aon policy and Australian requirements. Partner with coordination, People Operations, onboarding, and specialist teams to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance to commencement. Deliver a responsive, inclusive experience for candidates and hiring managers, including clear communication with unsuccessful candidates. Maintain accurate records in Aon’s applicant tracking and HR systems, ensuring data quality, compliance, confidentiality, and audit readiness. Use recruitment technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools responsibly while applying judgement, protecting candidate data, and following Aon guidance. Track pipeline health, ageing, source effectiveness, time-to-fill, service levels, candidate experience, and other measures to manage risks and improve outcomes. Escalate delays, bottlenecks, market constraints, and delivery risks early, with practical options to keep hiring on track. Use panel agencies selectively and in line with Aon supplier governance after direct sourcing options are explored. Support internal mobility, referrals, recruitment marketing, employer-brand activity, and talent initiatives across Australia and the wider Pacific region. Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, regional TA projects, and adoption of inclusive, skills-based hiring. Build effective remote relationships and manage priorities across Australia and New Zealand time zones. Skills and experience that will lead to success
Recruitment delivery: Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a complex, fast-paced environment led by collaborators. This includes screening, interviewing, assessment, offer management, and negotiation. Market knowledge: Experience recruiting in Australia and New Zealand or the ability to quickly gain strong understanding of local talent pools, candidate expectations, and hiring methods. Advisory role: Strong consultative skills, with confidence to advise, influence, and appropriately challenge talent acquisition leads and senior partners. Sourcing and pipelines: Demonstrated ability in direct sourcing, engaging passive candidates, talent mapping, and developing pipelines for diverse roles and levels. Inclusive hiring: Practical knowledge of inclusive, skills-focused hiring, structured assessments, and fair decision-making. Communication and judgement: Excellent written and verbal English skills, sound judgement, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple vacancies, customers, and deadlines while safeguarding candidate experience. Systems and data: Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, HR systems, sourcing platforms, data, and reporting tools; experience with iCIMS and Workday is a plus. Digital fluency: Skilled in responsibly using new recruitment and AI tools, critically assessing results, and maintaining human oversight. Sector experience: Background in insurance, professional services, or financial services is beneficial.
