Project Manager (Telco experience)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver enterprise technology and digital transformation projects for a China-based enterprise software and digital-transformation company with a strong focus on the telecommunications industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, coordinating cross-functional teams, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of IT and digital transformation projects. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements. Manage project

s, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests. Coordinate cross-functional teams including software developers, business analysts, technical teams, QA, implementation teams, and other project stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related coordination with clients and internal stakeholders. Facilitate project meetings, status updates, progress reviews, and stakeholder presentations. Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed according to agreed requirements and timelines. Identify potential project risks and issues and develop appropriate mitigation and resolution plans. Manage client expectations and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with technical and business teams to translate business requirements into actionable project deliverables.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within enterprise software, telecommunications, technology services, or digital transformation. Proven experience managing projects involving enterprise applications, software solutions, system implementation, or digital transformation initiatives. Experience working with telecommunications companies, telecom platforms, OSS/BSS, network-related solutions, or other telco technology projects is an advantage. Strong understanding of the software development/project lifecycle (SDLC). Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies. Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, issue resolution, change management, and stakeholder management. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
