Outside Sales Manager (On-Site)

This is a market builder role focused on opening doors, earning the trust of national distributors and owner-led businesses, creating demand, and converting opportunities into profitable, repeatable sales. The successful candidate will bring strong Philippine market access, technical credibility, disciplined follow-through and a closing mindset. The role offers substantial field autonomy while requiring close coordination with Philippine colleagues, EMSI's Philadelphia headquarters, and represented manufacturers. Key Responsibilities

Build and execute a 12- to 24-month territory and channel strategy prioritizing product lines, distributor targets, end-user segments, geographic opportunities and measurable milestones, with new business development central to the role

Lead opportunities from prospecting and needs discovery through technical positioning, proposals, negotiation, closing, first order, and repeat business

Secure new regional and national distributor partnerships while expanding existing accounts through field engagement, product-line development, training and dependable follow-through

Deliver credible product presentations, application discussions and hands-on demonstrations; coordinate deeper support with EMSI and manufacturer teams when needed

Exercise sound judgment on pricing, margin, credit, inventory, lead times and customer commitments to support profitable, sustainable growth

Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospects and projects, record activity accurately, and communicate risks, decisions and next actions through fact-based reporting

Work with the Regional Sales Manager, VP of Sales, Philadelphia headquarters, and manufacturers while reporting customer needs, competitor activity, specifications, and market opportunities

Candidate Profile10+ years of B2B technical sales experience, including at least 5 recent years selling through electrical distributors or developing indirect channels in the Philippines

Experience with an electrical manufacturer, distributor, manufacturers' representative or relevant competitor, plus an active network among national and regional electrical distributors

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated success opening accounts and converting relationships into purchase orders, repeat business and measurable revenue

Working knowledge of distributor economics, pricing, margin, credit, inventory, lead times and the realities of importing and selling technical products in the Philippines

Enough technical depth to discuss applications, conduct demonstrations and address straightforward field issues; an engineering or technical background is preferred but not mandatory

• Professional fluency in spoken and written English is required. Filipino/Tagalog or another Philippine language is preferred; Chinese is a plus
• Comfort with Windows-based business tools and disciplined CRM use; NetSuite experience is a plus
