Mid-Level Software Engineer (Flutter)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid to Senior Python/Go Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is primarily focused on backend development, utilizing Go for our core services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend systems that power our client applications. While the primary focus is on the backend, you will be working closely with teams building mobile applications in Flutter and web applications in React, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across all platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable backend services primarily using Go.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Collaborate with frontend developers (Flutter mobile and React web) to define and implement necessary APIs and integration points.

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and share knowledge across the team.

Debug and resolve complex issues across the platform.

Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, and deployment.

Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development experience.

Proven professional experience with Go for building high-performance backend systems.

Strong understanding of backend architecture, including microservices, REST APIs, and database interactions.

Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Additional Qualifications

Professional experience with Python is a significant plus.

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or frontend libraries like React is a plus, specifically concerning integration challenges.
