Role Overview

The Senior Curriculum Specialist will serve as a curriculum developer, monitoring personnel, and academic support lead, ensuring the creation of lesson materials, the integrity of curriculum implementation, the consistency of instructional standards, and the systematic oversight of the full homework lifecycle—from assignment, submission, review, and documentation. This position bridges curriculum design and classroom execution while strengthening teacher capacity, academic accountability systems, and instructional quality. In addition, the role will directly assist the School Director in teacher hiring, training, onboarding, and management. For this reason, candidates with experience in recruitment, teacher development, coaching, and team supervision are strongly preferred. Core

Responsibilities

A. Homework System Management (Supervisory Function)

Design assignments, instructional templates, and standardized grading rubrics to be used in classes. Manage the daily monitoring of the Homework Tracker and Missing Homework lists. Review posted homework for quality, consistency, and compliance with standards.B. Curriculum Management

Develop lesson materials for teachers across all subject areas and assist the School Director in supervising other Curriculum Specialists on their material development tasks. Align and customize trial class EDBs based on student profiles, including differentiated homework expectations, and submit for Curriculum Leader approval.C. Teacher Hiring, Training, and Management Support

Assist the School Director in teacher recruitment, screening, and hiring processes. Support the design and delivery of teacher onboarding and training programs. Help monitor teacher performance, accountability, and implementation of school standards. Provide coaching support and follow-through for teacher development and instructional improvement. Contribute to the management of a high-performing academic team.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of ELA/International School teaching experience with demonstrated instructional effectiveness. Experience in curriculum coordination, instructional leadership, or academic operations. Strong background in teacher training, coaching, and quality assurance. Experience working within online or blended learning environments. Excellent organizational, monitoring, and documentation skills. High level of accountability and ability to manage high-responsibility tasks. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. Experience in teacher hiring, management, or academic team supervision is highly preferred. Compensation and Work Arrangement

• Fully remote work environment
• Preferably afternoon-evening shift
• Fixed salary of USD $400–$500 per month
