Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supervising, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment within a sewage treatment plant. This role ensures that all mechanical components operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, pipelines, valves, and STP treatment units
• Conduct routine inspections of Installation STP Process Equipment’s.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults.
• Monitor equipment performance and optimize operational efficiency
• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical ,Electrical, and process teams on site activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and operational logs
• Supervise Sub contractors and technicians during mechanical works
• Assist in procurement of spare parts and equipment
• Prepare technical reports MIR,WIR and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or water projects related field
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer
• 2–5+ years of experience in STP, WTP (Water Treatment Plant), or similar projects
• Strong knowledge of pumps, piping systems, blowers, and treatment processes
• Familiarity with maintenance planning and troubleshooting techniques
• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
